BMW Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in October was of $217,907. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $214,144 during November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -26 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $187,584.25 to $188,347.5 during February and March.
The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is $25,187.64. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($14,132) moving up till ($62,842)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 279 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($115,985.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of $136,551.
The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 94 % more affordable than the average price ($191,145). Next with a price of $43,550 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 5% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $94,728.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 58 % less expensive than the average market price ($191,145) followed by "Petrol" priced at $111,008. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 23 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Electric" with a price of $123,353.

These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of $115,055. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 37 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
