Ford Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Ford cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price for March is $219,082. During April there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till $190,232. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -35 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $169,308 to $176,070.5 during July and August.
The average price for Ford has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2014, the average price is $22,699.06. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($11,499) moving up till ($43,242)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 130 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 15 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($61,077.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of $69,974.5.
The graph that displays the price for Ford cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 80 % more affordable than the average price ($181,974). Next with a price of $47,365 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 12% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $58,973.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford cars points out to "Electric" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 90 % less expensive than the average market price ($181,974) followed by "Petrol" priced at $71,251. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 57 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of $77,952.
The graph showing the average price for Ford cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 96 % more affordable than the average price ($181,974). These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of $53,139. Cars with the lowest average price have 2 !doors and are 61 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of $64,035.
