LDV Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for LDV cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in September was of $59,166. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $59,632 during October. The following two months (November, December) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -7 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $56,810.25 to $52,980 during January and February.
The average price for LDV has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2016 and 2020, the average price is $23,222.8. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2016 ($18,812) moving up till ($29,792)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 54 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($42,447.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of $49,107.
The graph that displays the price for LDV cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 62 % more affordable than the average price ($54,811). Next with a price of $25,559 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 0% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $36,334.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for LDV cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 44 % less expensive than the average market price ($54,811) followed by "Petrol" priced at $41,426. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 102 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs $48,739.
The graph showing the average price for LDV cars displays those with 5 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 24 % more affordable than the average price ($54,811). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of $46,141. Cars with the lowest price have 2 doors and are 13 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
