Lexus Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Lexus cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In October the price for a car is $97,453 increasing till $102,948 in November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -26 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $87,113 to $86,720 during February and March.
The average price for Lexus has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is $27,489.45. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($8,371) moving up till ($56,833)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 145 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($71,859.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of $76,394.
The graph that displays the price for Lexus cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 84 % more affordable than the average price ($93,005). Next with a price of $28,937 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 25% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $69,994.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Lexus cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 31 % less expensive than the average market price ($93,005) followed by "Electric" priced at $67,260. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 30 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs $68,277.
The graph showing the average price for Lexus cars displays those with 4 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 57 % more affordable than the average price ($93,005). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of $46,643. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 22 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
