Price for MG
MG Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for MG cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of $50,615. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $51,153 during November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -16 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has risen 9 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price ($50,876) during February and March.
The average price for MG has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2018 and 2019, the average price was $19,622. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2020, 2021), the average price went up 9 % moving from !PRECIO1! to $21,399.5, During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 38 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($34,503.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of $47,607.
The graph that displays the price for MG cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 71 % more affordable than the average price ($52,578). Next with a price of $20,254 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 1% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $29,670.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for MG cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 35 % less expensive than the average market price ($52,578) followed by "Gasoline" priced at $43,313. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 6 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of $43,313.
The graph showing the average price for MG cars displays those with 4 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 56 % more affordable than the average price ($52,578). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of $28,772. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 3 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
