Mini Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mini cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in October was of $44,219. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $42,269 during November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -36 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has had spectacular rise of 21 % with an average price of $35,544.75 during the previous 4 months and $42,971 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Mini has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2004 and 2020, the average price is $21,637.41. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2004 ($11,968) moving up till ($36,314)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 137 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($55,142.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of $59,035.
The graph that displays the price for Mini cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 76 % more affordable than the average price ($46,568). Next with a price of $14,387 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 22% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of $41,817.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mini cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 60 % less expensive than the average market price ($46,568) followed by "Petrol" priced at $23,148. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 23 % higher than the average market price followed by "Gasoline" which costs $42,565.
The graph showing the average price for Mini cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 47 % more affordable than the average price ($46,568). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of $28,343. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 11 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 3 doors with a selling price of $29,407.
