Peugeot Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Peugeot cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in October was of $47,877. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $49,855 during November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -34 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has risen 9 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price ($43,906) during February and March.
The average price for Peugeot has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is $13,158.47. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($2,973) moving up till ($26,422)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 199 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($44,554) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of $49,766.5.
The graph that displays the price for Peugeot cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 90 % more affordable than the average price ($45,495). Next with a price of $10,839 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 12% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of $43,567.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Peugeot cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 46 % less expensive than the average market price ($45,495) followed by "Gasoline" priced at $25,632. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 37 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs $33,934.
The graph showing the average price for Peugeot cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 71 % more affordable than the average price ($45,495). These are followed by those with 3 doors with an average price of $13,450. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 35 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of $21,127.
