Volkswagen Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Volkswagen cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of $109,118. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $110,467 during November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -21 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two, the price has gone through a -6 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $98,220.5 to $91,879 during February and March.
The average price for Volkswagen has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is $19,601.64. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($7,623) moving up till ($47,367)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 193 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($64,175.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of $70,911.
