The retail prices for Ford Escape cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In February the price for a car is $21,862 increasing till $23,941 in March. During the following two months (April, May) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 36 % from $22,901.5 to $31,154. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -22 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $27,027.75 to $20,979.5.
The average price for Ford Escape has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2001 and 2010, the average price is $6,693.6. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2001 ($4,875) moving up till ($12,085)in 2010. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 277 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
