Mazda CX-5 Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mazda CX-5 cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in September was of $58,163. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $58,017 during October. The following two months (November, December) the selling price went through a devaluation of -5 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -10 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $56,602.25 to $50,992.5 during January and February.
The average price for Mazda CX-5 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2012 and 2020, the average price is $24,868.55. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2012 ($16,492) moving up till ($35,382)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 68 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($45,164.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of $48,487.5.
