Mitsubishi Lancer Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Mitsubishi Lancer cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in May was of $26,489. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $26,222 during June. During the following two months (July, August) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 21 % from $26,355.5 to $31,906.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $29,131 to $29,752 during September and October.
The average price for Mitsubishi Lancer has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2013, the average price is $7,774.13. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($3,764) moving up till ($12,227)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 90 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($16,576.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2016, 2017) with a price of $18,364.5.
