Mitsubishi Magna Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Mitsubishi Magna cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In July the price for a car is $4,744 increasing till $4,995 in August. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 22 % from $4,869.5 to $5,916.5. The average price has risen 13 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price ($6,100) during November and December.
The average price for Mitsubishi Magna has remained constant in recent years. During the first sample analyzed ("before 2000" - 2001), the average selling price stood at $3,113.33. During this time, the price for "before 2000" which was $3,706 decreased to $3,453 during 2001. During the next two years (2002, 2003) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 52 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample ($4,042) and the the last two years (2004, 2005) with a price of $3,348.5.
