Nissan Elgrand Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Nissan Elgrand cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in July was of $15,988. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $15,939 during August. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 45 % from $15,963.5 to $23,222.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $19,593 to $19,031.5 during November and December.
The average price for Nissan Elgrand has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2008, the average price is $10,915. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($6,333) moving up till ($17,386)in 2008. During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 76 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($21,777) and the the last two years that were studied (2011, 2012) with a price of $24,359.
