The Jeep Cherokee has re-entered the Australian market as one of the most recognisable names in SUV, all-wheel drive style and performance. Good looks and its excellent off-road abilities are still Jeep’s strongest selling point.
20-inch alloys with a full-size spare, a double-pane sunroof, slim-line headlights and LED daytime running lights beneath a high bonnet line together with a trim and stylish tail still draw admiring glances on the road or driveway. The 5-seater offers loads of space for passenger comfort as well as for cargo. Front seats are ventilated, while all seats have heating. Off-road performance has plenty of assistance.

The SUV’s ability to tow up to 3500kg safely is assisted by trailer sway and rollover control. A V6 diesel engine with plenty of torque does the rest.
The 184kW/570Nm 3-litre engine is complimented by an 8-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Air suspension with 181-287mm of ground clearance and rear and centre electronic differentials ensure great off-road performance. Driving pleasure is enhanced by a 9-speaker audio system with satellite navigation and voice recognition. Alternate readouts are supplied by a digital TFT instrument panel and a large touch screen.
