HSV Clubsport

The HSV Clubsport is the all-Australian production that will excite those motoring enthusiasts who love their car’s engine to emit a deep and menacing growl when its power is unleashed. With a new set of lungs in the form of butterfly valves that open at around 3800rpm, the vehicle will not disappoint. They sit on two of the four exhaust pipes just waiting for their cue from the 6.2-litre V8 found in the Clubsport R8.

If the Clubsport impresses with 317kW and 550Nm of torque, it is equally as impressive in controlling the power with the automatic braking function of the cruise control. Standard driver and front passenger SRS and side airbags and full-length curtains protect against impact. Electronic brake-force distribution, tri-stage electronic stability control, an engine immobiliser, brake assist and DATADOT technology offer plenty of confidence in the vehicle’s safety.
